Thank you all very much for giving our fantastic coach Alex Lim a great last night at AllezFencing.

To honour Alex there was fantastic fencing in the first ever “marbles”cup, won by Lachlan Jarvie.

Camden Foil LPJS 8/9 Oct. 2016

Last 32 results were achieved by Nicholas Teo, Robbie Woolterton and Neo Merrell in U15 Boys and by Woser Prossor in U13 Boys. Last 16 by Zachary Ring, Damifola Odelusi in U11 Boys, Francesco Roccato and Vencel Kuba in U13 Boys and Chloe Leslie in U11 Girls.

Maddy Gale managed to secure a bronze medal after losing 10-9 to the later winner in a very high standard semi final.  image

Both Aarav Chaudhari and Samuel Savickas proved to also be in good form by finishing both 3rd in U11 Boys.

Lachlan Jarvie stayed undefeated during the day in U13 Boys and won the tournament!

Summertime Fencing

Many AllezFencers did train or compete in the summer break. Great results were 9th place Samuel Savickas in Paris mini marathon foil, 16th place Lachlan Jarvie on Leon Paul international foil and both Vencel Kuba at the Academy Cup and Aarav Chaudhari at Newham Foil won a gold medal!

England Youth Championships 18-19/6/2016

In Under 11 Boys Foil Allez Fencing was unbeatable for the opposition. Samuel Savickas and Aarav Chaudhari did not lose a fight and met each other only in the final where Aarav crowned himself the new U11 English Foil Champion!

In Under 13 Boys Foil Jack Elsworth finished  43rd, Woser Prossor 32nd, Francesco Roccato 17th, Vencel Kuba 9th and Lachlan Jarvie came home with a fantastic bronze medal!

In Under 13 Girls Foil Maddy Gale finished 7th and in Under 15 Girls Sabre Georgia Owen finished 11th. All very well done!

Brentwood Summer Tournament 21/5/2016

In Under 9 Foil Joshua Young won a silver medal.

in Under 12 Foil Reece Young finished 8th, Seby Jarvis 5th. oliver Deal and Woser Prossor finished 3rd and Samuel Savickas won the gold medal!

in Under 15 mixed Sabre Georgia Owen finished 8th.

in Under 15 Foil Georgia Owen finished 15th and Lachlan Jarvie finished 2nd. All very well done!image

Kent U10, U12 & U14 Foil Championships 8/5/2016

Allez Fencing took away a lot of medals on the Kent Youth Foil Championships.

In Under 10 Boys Foil Joshua Young reached the quarterfinals, Samuel Savickas won the silver medal only stopped by team-mate Aarav Chaudhari who won gold for the second year in a row.

In Under 12 Boys Foil Seby Jarvis made the last 16, Reece young reached the quarterfinals, Noah Compton and Oliver Deal both won the bronze medal and Woser Prossor won the gold medal.image image

In Under 14 Boys Foil Nicholas Teo reached the quarterfinals, Lachlan Jarvie won the bronze medal, and after an thrilling finale Vencel Kuba won silver and Francesco Roccato took home the gold medal.

All very well done!

 

British Youth Championships Sheffield 30/4, 1/5 & 2/5/16

In Under 12 Boys Foil Woser Prossor finished 35th.  In Under 14 Boys Foil Francesco Roccato finished 18th, Lachlan Jarvie 29th, Vencel Kuba 34th, Jack Elsworth 45th and Neo Merrell 58th. In Girls Under 12 Foil Katie Cotier finished 40th. In Under 14 Girls Foil Maddy Gale finished a great 12th place. In Under 18 Girls Foil Ellen Sharman also finished a strong top 16 place. Georgia Owen who fenced in Under 16 Girls Sabre finished 37th.

Well done!

Newham Junior Challenge Series event 2 23/24-04-2016

In Under 16 Girls Foil Georgia Owen finished at fifth place. In under 14 Boys Foil Jack Elsworth finishes 31st, Lachlan Jarvie 17th, Vencel Kuba reaches the quarterfinal and Francesco Roccato comes home with a fantastic silver medal.

In Under 12 Boys Foil Reece Young finishes 35th and Samuel Savickas 13th. In Under 10 Boys Foil Yoshua Young finishes 20th,  Samuel Savickas missed a place in the semifinals on 1 point and finishes 5th and Aarav Chaudhari comes home undefeated and wins the gold medal!
